bouquet

i painted this bouquet about six months ago. it’s oil on unprimed canvas which isn’t such a great idea because the oil paint will destroy the canvas over time. i have no idea why i chose this combination anyway. good thing it didn’t turn out to be one of my favorite paintings… ;)

i think the back side is interesting, though

somewhere along the way i experimented with a version that included a figure, but in the end i decided not to go ahead with it.
