i am intrigued by images of people tumbling or falling. that mix of loss of control, surrender, chaos, chance, fate… sometimes there seems to be something vaguely „cathartic“ about these images, a sense of letting go, of giving up, of relief even.

today i experimented with a cut out/collage version using scraps of paper. i hadn’t planned on using the half circle left over from another project, but then I sort of liked the moon idea. i’m not too happy with the hand/arm, though. i probably could have left it out. anyway, it’s just an experiment and more are to follow.
