a few months ago, after a three-year break from ceramics, i gave making pots another try. a fun - and humbling - experience. i thoroughly enjoyed the decorating part, the ease of the little drawings and their relationship with the object. BUT, there is so much to learn about form and shape and the technical aspects of ceramic work. clay bodies, glazes, the co-efficient of thermal expansion, firing curves… it’s quite daunting, really.

i don’t know when (if) i’ll continue my ceramic experiments, but anyway, here are some photos of the last one. (i used porcelain this time.)
